TOC Element that will not behave

Hi!

In addition to the other suggestions already offered, I noticed one thing.  This may be nit-picking, but there's a minute difference in the format names - you state the Index.Title  has the IndexTitleTOC applied... that period in the name is critical.  


Test this by renaming either the format on the reference page to include the period and updating the catalog in the TOC or renaming the style in the Index to not have the period so the names match.  My preference would be the first so the TOC matches the exisitng style in the Index documents.

Esteemed colleagues,
 
I am running FrameMaker 11.0.2.34 on Windows 7 Professional. IN my table of Contents for a book, the Index title refuses to appear properly formatted. The format (IndexTitleTOC) is applied to the Index.Title when it appears in the TOC. However, the Index.Title reverts to some earlier definition of the IndexTitleTOC format. No matter what I do, it always returns to a format different from the rest of the same-level items in the TOC. Can anyone suggest what the solution is?
