Inkling uses its own proprietary XML-based format called S9ML. I found an article that has a bit of information on it:

Inkling is, AFAIK, not a standard e-book format, which is usually based on HTML.... I think you're screwed unless they have an import mechanism for formats such as PDF or RTF.
