[Framers] OT: Adobe Tool Question

Is EPS required for any reason other than exporting for placement in FrameMaker?

If there's no other reason you need EPS, you don't need to worry about
whether the drawing application can edit EPS files. In fact, you could
probably forget about EPS entirely, and export PDF or EMF to place in
FrameMaker.
