[Framers] Help: My Book switched from Unstructured to Structured

Have you saved your workspace? Once you get it the way you like, click the
dropdown (top right of FM, next to the minimize/maximize icons), and take it
from there.

I use a few myself. They do get stored in a user directory, so *maybe* the
IT powers that be did a push of something that changed your configuration.
Too many possibilities, but if someone/somehow/somewhere changed that user
folder (new login name, whatever) that could do the damage.

The good thing is it wasn't permanent.

Thanks.

What really gave away that I wasn't "in Kansas anymore" was the fact the
**my** workspace setup was completely missing.

It's amazing how reliant I am on my personal workflow.

As an FYI, if this does happen, the structured interface is a superset of
the unstructured. All the unstructured stuff is there, and then a few more
goodies. If you accidently get dropped into structure from unstructured,
just work like normal (or reset it under Edit > Preferences) and don't
panic. HOWEVER, for anyone using structured files and actually using things
like the Element Catalog and the Structure View (for those who do use
structure that makes sense, for those who don't, feel free to stop reading)
and you go to UNSTRUCTURED and open your files, take note of warning. You
can often open *.fm files that are structured, but if you save them in
unstructured, the content remains, but the structure is gone.

Fame
Importance: High

- Frame 12
- unstructured
- Windows 7 64 bit

I was just working in my **Unstructured** book and Frame 12 crashed.

I rebooted then restarted Frame and for some reason I am now in
**Structured** Frame.

I have never worked in Structured Frame so I have no idea how to get out of
this.

Any advice? I need to know in a hurry as I am on deadline (naturally!).
