[Framers] Tool for importing selected variables

ImportFormatsSpecialES allows you to just import system variables and/or
user variables. You can't specify individual variables, but you can just
import one category or the other (or both). It also breaks down document
properties into different categories so you can choose which ones you want
to import.

In the distant reaches of my mind, I seem to recall a tool that would allow
you to import only selected variables from one doc to another - such as only
system variables or only user-defines variables.  Am I remembering correctly
and if so, what is the name/where  can I get this tool? 

 

If the tool never existed or is no longer available, then maybe this sounds
like a job for our super-scripter Rick Quatro?
