No, round dots are not supported per se. You would need to create a script drawing tiny
filled circles or place characters (e.g. centered dots). The appearance depends of
course of the size of the dots. To few pixels always look odd.
Real overkill to serve this demand would be to use my graphic library.

The best approximation is to end a line with a square, rotated by 45°.
