[Framers] FM on Next - question from a nostalgic person

Since NeXTSTEP OS was based on UNIX, I think the Unix FM manual instructions probably cover most of the functioning of the FM program.

One thing to watch out for in such an old version of FrameMaker is the 'grey box' problem that used to crop up where graphics would suddenly become grey boxes. That problem gave us all fits back then in the early 90s This can be solved by increasing the temp space allocated to the user. Something would max out the temp space, and BOOM, grey boxes.

Good luck. FM5 is pretty close in features. You can look at the feature set difference between the two versions and that will tell you what to ignore in the manual. I do have a set of those manuals in English, but they are a couple of hundred miles away at this time.

Is he asking for documentation on the Nextstation itself, or for *FrameMaker
for* the Nextstation?
