Dear all,
In the German FM forum (https://groups.google.com/g/frameusers-de/c/r52QypX3oQs) a
severe bug is reported. It appears not only in FM-15 (2019), but also in FM-16
(2020):

Graphical elements containing curves or circles, created with the corresponding
FrameMaker tools, are not output to PDF as bezier curves. Instead there are very
rough and segmented lines only approximating the original curves or circles. This
function has been working perfectly in FrameMaker 2015 (all curves ended up as bezier
curves in CMYK PDFs), but is broken/bad since FrameMaker 2019. This quality is
unusable for printable PDF output.

Please vote on the two bug-reports https://tracker.adobe.com/#/view/FRMAKER-10670 and
10674

There is still need for CMYK support even in the time of 'responsive HTML5'. New
legal regulations in the medical field (e.g. IVDR) even lead to more rather than
fewer printed manuals in some places.

Klaus
