My husband was a programmer for years. We still argue about what things **should** be called - he thinks like a programmer, I think like a user!
And in the case of Frame, the original programmers wrote on Sun systems with UNIX, so that leaves some really weird "stuff" for those of us who have always worked in a Windows world (esc JJ, anyone?).

I would never have looked for "Typing in dialog boxes".
This is about the difference between a program designer or engineer, and authors who use the language that the program is designed to create and publish content. There's always room to improve product technical docs, right? That's what keeps the jobs alive, until perfect Artificial Intelligence becomes Real Intelligence.
It's always interesting to learn how things evolve over time. Especially "life's persistent questions," and FrameMaker users'!
