Simpler still: Use Fred Ridder's technique:<br>

You can grab a MIFFILe header from any MIF file and use
that.<br>
Save the MIF fragment, and then open it in FrameMaker. It
should appear as a blank page. <br>
Import in paragraph formats from the MIF fragment into the
Frame document.<br>
Voila.<br>
