The language setting is set to US English in both Paragraph and Character Properties. I tried “Mark all paragraphs for re-checking” with no improvement. I restarted FM, and the results were the same. I’m frustrated at the “Learning” feature now. If I search in user.dct or site.dct for just “j” (which is one of the characters in the nonsense string), I still find nothing that matches it. On the other hand, if I highlight the whole string and click Unlearn, then it’s found. Where are “learned” terms stored if not in those two *.dct files?<u></u><u></u></span></p>

When we were on FM7, after a long session of multiple spell checks and search and replace operations, FM would suddenly stop finding misspelled words or the object of a search.
