In checking this out, I did find out that it does NOT work if the document files that make up the book are not open. (I usually have all the files open in order to speed the process, but a test shows the book doesn't print a PDF if the files are NOT open. There is no error message it just doesn't do anything.) <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>I am printing them by selecting only the book file and then right clicking and choosing print selected files.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#1F497D'>Acrobat X is kind of funky though. It doesn't post alerts to the screen when there are problems. Instead, it adds a document to the taskbar which you have to click on to see. This applies to situations where you are being asked to name the file and choose where it will be stored. I was able to get a PDF of a single file once, but never a book PDF. If I move the book to my local drive, I can create book PDFs but I cannot do this from the network. This was not an issue on my 32 bit machine (FrameMaker 9, Acrobat 8, Windows 7). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>I have tried installing the FrameMaker 10 trial to see if that would solve the issue. I’ve also tried reverting back to Acrobat 8 and that didn’t solve the issue either. I’ve tried the “Save Book As”, “Save as PDF”, and the “Print Book” methods. None work.
