<div style="RIGHT: auto"><SPAN style="RIGHT: auto">FM9 is compatible with Win7 and I don't see any reason why it runs in WinXP compatibility mode on your PC. Framemaker 9 crashes because it is buggy. I would call it a "beta version of Framemaker with the new interface". When I upgraded to FMv10, all the stability issues that you describe almost disappeared. I can't say that FMv10 does not crash at all, but it does so very rarely.<VAR id=yui-ie-cursor></VAR></SPAN></div>

It hovered at 24.9 but never above.<BR>Does that means only one of the
four processors is being accessed. All<BR>coprocessors are working...<BR>Added to this disturbing reading (and maybe I have misunderstood how quads<BR>work) Windows 7 reports on running the compatibility add-on that FM is<BR>"INCOMPATIBLE" with windows 7.<BR>It tries to run it under the XP shell, but that makes FM very slow.<BR>My feeling is that FM9 was designed for Vista and nobody bothered to fix it<BR>after windows 7 was introduced.<BR>The last patch was two years ago.
