OK, between the problem with printing a PS file and this new information, I think the problem is with the Acrobat installation, and probably nothing to do with Frame.<div><br></div><div>One thing to double check -- when you installed FM, you should NOT have installed the bundled, limited Acrobat distiller.... if you did, you should uninstall that because it causes a conflict with the whole Acrobat program that's on the system.</div>
<div><br></div><div><div>Either way, if I were you, I'd download a favorite utility of mine, Revo Uninstaller and use it to uninstall Acrobat. If you don't want the extra utility, still uninstall Acrobat X.</div>

Reboot. </div><div>Then reinstall Acrobat, maybe with a fresh "eval" download from the web site into which you can plug your license code...</div><div>When you reinstall, make sure that you're installing with a user account that has local Admin privileges.</div>

<p class="MsoNormal">We are finally moving to Windows 7 (just as Windows 8 is around the corner!). I just got a Dell 64 bit Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz machine with 4 GB Ram. It has Windows 7 Enterprise loaded. I have FrameMaker 10.0.0.388 and Acrobat X 10.1.3.<br>
<br>Everything works great until I try to create a PDF from FM. The whole system just hangs, or seems to be printing so slowly, several minutes per page, that it might as well be hung. I have Adobe set as the default printer, and I have tried printing directly and Save As with the same result. Simple, one page documents will sometimes print or save to PDF, but anything longer hangs or takes forever. Even printing to PS gives the same results; one page works, but anything longer hangs. I wasted most of yesterday with a very senior and knowledgeable PC Tech and got nowhere.<br>
