Hi Nancy,<div>First thing, I would mock-up a dummy of the front and back layout of the piece. Determine things like margins, color,/bleeds, crop/trim, paper stock, tumble, etc.</div><div>After that, call the printer. Talk specs with them and find out what they need to print. Do they prefer a PDF and how do they need it generated? What file format and resolution?</div>
<div>Some printers will do the imposition; you provide a standard size and they will arrange for print.</div><div><div>If you create the layout yourself, consider how the front and back will align (left, right and center).
</div><div>Frame can handle most print requirements but plan carefully for color challenges.</div><div>The printer is your friend!</div><div><br></div><div>Mollye</div><div>-- </div><div><div><div>Mollye Barrett | ClearPath, LLC </div>

I need to create a template for a four-page Quick Start Card that will print on a piece of 11 x 17 paper that will be folded once to produce four pages.<br>
<br>
I don't know how this is done. Do I:<br>
<br>
--Create four regular 8.5 x 11" pages and select print options so pages 4 and 1 will print on one side of the 11 x 17" page, and sides 2 and 3 will print on the other side?<br>
<br>
--Create a template with an 11 x 17" page size with the four text flows already established? (Is it possible Adobe provides such a template? I looked, but did not find one in the Templates folder.)<br>
<br>
Any tips gratefully received.<br>
