As Richard described, setting the format on the reference pages and then update these formats should stick after regenerating the index. MasterPages can be applied automatically by using either a dedicated Index template file or the Apply MasterPages functionality. <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>If you don’t want to regenerate the index because of the many manual adaptions you have to make, consider the option to use a script to do that. It will save you a lot of time! Also setting the right options in your paragraph styles can help. Either way, finalizing the index using manual tweaks should only be done when the content of your book is also finalized – don’t do that for in house reviews or whatever …..;)<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span lang=EN-US>Note: you can set up these settings (styles, masterpages) in your default template that also be used by the regular chapters.
