<DIV>Hi everyone</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>We access large FM10 books (120ish files, 5000+ pages) off a Novell server over a network. The client machines are Windows XP SP3 and are using Sophos antivirus. Mostly, file access works just fine. Sometimes, it's slow as a dog, like it can take 10 minutes to select all the files in the book. We saw occasional problems with FM7, but worse with FM10. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If we copy the files to a local drive they're fine; people's PCs have enough memory and swap space etc; the network path is fine; FM10's fully patched.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Our IS people haven't yet got to the bottom of the problem, but they think it might be a combo of Novell and FM not talking nice, maybe with some interaction with Sophos thrown in there. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Has anyone else seen anything like this?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Many thanks</DIV>
