I have a longtime client and I access a virtual PC on their network and on this virtual PC FM 10 is installed as a standalone product. I just logged into the virtual PC and attempted to open FM 10 and get the same lousy message. Installing FM 11 as a workaround is not an option as this is not my PC, but my client's. It was not installed as part of an application suite. When I attempt to Deactivate, and then Deactivate Permanently, I receive the message "Please connect to the internet to deactivate" and I AM connected to the internet. I am unable to deactivate my account at all, so I am unable to attempt Solution #2. Also, I did stop and then restart the FlexNet Licensing Services and that did not work either.
