If Reader's install and uninstall scripts are really foolproof, they will keep track of any components that pre-existed when they were installed so that they know not to delete those on uninstall. <br><br>Where things get really iffy is when there is a pre-existing Reader installation when Acrobat Pro is installed. Our company's standard desktop configuration includes Reader, and the last time my hard disk was replaced I forgot to have the IT tech remove Reader before installing Acrobat Pro.
