Wait, isn't this an argument *for* using Helvetica? After all, seeing a<br>
blank page would encourage people to stop using IE.<br>

Just kidding, although I am proud to say that I haven't used IE in many,<br>
many years and have no intention of changing that behavior. It's<br>
unfortunate that a variety of circumstances have led to the use of a truly<br>
unfortunate piece of software as a key part of the user experience.<br>

Alas, this appears to require a registry setting. It was already set on my computer, but some readers report that this method didn't work for them, and this is probably why. If you don't know what the registry is, please don't try this. Under HKEY_Current_User/Control Panel/Input Method, set EnableHexNumpad to "1". If you have to add it, set the type to be REG_SZ.<br>
