
<html><body><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div aria-label="Compose body">Has anyone else had this problem:</div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">In Acrobat, after making a PDF, I Save As > Reader Extended PDF > Enable Commenting & Measuring. Then when I give it to someone to comment on it in Adobe Reader, they get a message saying that the PDF has changed and commenting is disabled and to do a Save As Copy and put rights on that version. I do all that and it doesn't fix the problem.</div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">However, if the user has Adobe Reader DC, then they can comment on the PDF without issue.</div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">Is this a bug in Reader, is there a solution other than upgrading to DC?</div><div aria-label="Compose body"><br></div><div aria-label="Compose body">Thanks</div><div aria-label="Compose body">Gillian</div></div></body></html>
