error in FM 6: 6004 4759391 4798534

FrameMaker 6.0 has been crashing and coming up with this error number (6004,
4759391, 4798534).
Procedure I was using:
1. Use cross-references to jump from one area in a document to another.
2. Copy or cut something from the second area. (Usually the text is
conditional; all conditions shown and colored.)
3. Paste into the first area.

Is anyone familiar with this error or with problems with any part of this
procedure?
