Forgot about this in the first post:
http://www.thinkgeek.com/computing/drives/7a8d/ It'd elimate all the
connections and external equipment. Assuming it works as advertised.

But if it's a finite project, I'd still pay a lab to do it instead of
trying to roll it myself.
