How to delete trailing spaces in one go?

You can do it in two steps:
1. Create a character tag that changes the font. 
2. Find . \p, Replace 'by pasting' with that character tag. 
3. Select one of the spaces you've just converted. and Copy this space. 
4. Find "text and character formats on clipboard", Replace "To text" and
leave the text box empty. 
This will leave the \p with the new character tag. This will be an issue
if the \p is in a paragraph that is used in a generated list (TOC,
etc.), but otherwise I don't think it'll be a problem. 

Alternatively, this can be done with a scripting tool like QuickKeys.
