New computer woes cont'd

Sorry guys, didn't include vital information
 
I am on Windows XP.
 
Actually the Can't Lock File For Your Use problem is huger than appeared. FM
won't even let me do Save As.  I tried the Save As strategy and get the same
Cannot Lock File dialog again.  Help! Help!
