importing conditional settings (expression) in Frame 8

Is there a way to import a conditional expression from a file into a
book? I've tried File > Import > Formats > Conditional Text Settings but
this imports the show/hide conditional text setting and not the
selection of the conditional expression.

 

It seems that the only way I can use conditional expressions is to set
the conditional expression on a file by file basis, which is not
practical. 

 

BTW, the expression is "A"OR"B"ANDNOT"C"ANDNOT"D". It took look enough
to figure out in which order to put all the tags (I could not find
anything in the FrameMaker documentation on how the expression is
evaluated).

 

I'm using Frame 8 on Windows XP.
