Thank you so much Art!  I've been going through by hand, trying one
thing after another, and about 30 seconds ago, I thought, hum, why
don't I try importing formats from one of my working TOCs?

LOL

Any insight into why the autoTOC was picking up the title page, even
after I moved it out of first position?
