Reasons for using graphic and table anchor tags

I couldn't live without standalone graphic and table anchor tags, if nothing else than for finding those pesky anchors and selecting the associated content. Embedding anchors in the surrounding text has never worked well for me.

A neat trick with anchor tags is to set the font to normal size (even add an autotext marker) to make the anchor more visible in the draft stage, then set the font to a micro size in the final production layout.
