Frame 9 save as to open in Frame 8?

Hi Lise,

FrameMaker 9 has an option to save to FrameMaker 8. Or, you can have them
save as .MIF, as well.

I have a FrameScript script that can save a whole book or folder as
FrameMaker 8 at once. If they are interested in this script, please have
them contact me off list. Thanks.

Quick question: A translation company from whom we're getting a quote is
asking if I can accept FM 9 files. I have FM 8, so I don't know what save as
options FM 9 has for compatibility...
I did a search on adobe's website, but didn't find a clear answer.

Should I ask them to save the files as .mif from FM9? Is that the best way
to go?
