FM9: Insert Topicref buttons in the Resource Manager don't seem to work

I'm using FM9.0p237 in Windows XP SP3.

I have a DITA map open in the Resource Manager view. I want to add topicrefs
to my ditamap, but when I click the Insert Child or Sibling Topicref button,
nothing seems to happen. Apparently, I can only do this when I switch to
Document View.

Any ideas?

Also, I had hoped to be able to add topicrefs to a ditamap in a similar way
as I can add FM files to a book, i.e. select a couple of topicrefs in
Windows Explorer, switch to FrameMaker and simply drop them on the ditamap,
but I guess (hope) this is a feature request for FM 9.1.
