Error message when importing xml into Structured FrameMaker template

I am getting the following error message when attempting to import xml into Structured FrameMaker template:
The master page application caused the determining "E:researchlist" tag to move off the page. The default master page was applied as a result.
Book Error report.

It will not allow the text enclosed in the <researchlist> tags to flow to the appropriate master page. How can I fix tis?
