problems with long URLs in PDFs

Hi Lief, all,

thanks for your reply. We know we can do this, but that's manual,
isn't it, and we're looking for ways to automate this as much as
possible.

I should probably have mentioned that we're using structured
FrameMaker, and we have an element called hyperlink that, similar to
DocBook, has a an attribute containing the link and its contents is
displayed as the label. And it's with this scenario that we're
encountering the problems described earlier.
