Sounds odd. All works for me OK. Exactly the same setup, BTW.

However, it's occurred to me that the Object Properties pod may be
trying to appear off-screen - I have mine set up so the main FM9 window
is on my big screen and all the pods and stuff stay on the laptop
screen.

Dunno, just a thought

Subject: FM9 + WinXP Pro: Object Properties?

I'm a longtime FM7 user that is migrating to FM9. I'm using Windows XP
Pro SP3.
Once upon a time in FrameMaker, Esc+g+o would show the object properties
of the selected object. In FM9 it works for objects created in
FrameMaker, but when done on a placed graphic, nothing happens.
Furthermore, going to the Graphics menu and selecting "Object
Properties" also does nothing.
How do I access the properties of an imported graphic in FM9? I use this
functionality a LOT when I need to check the path and filename of a
referenced object; I'm not about to create a report each and every time
I want to check the location of a graphic.
