Frame 9 Spell Check Anomalies

I have the same issues as well - and as I have only ever used FM9, it can't have anything to do with an older dictionary.

I, too, have noticed these "sliced" up suggestions in FM9 as the default
suggestions. It's a very frequent annoyance with the FM9 spell checking
functions and I have never encountered this before until FM9. I wouldn't
mind a little insight to it myself.

I'm spell checking a relatively big chapter with lots of typos. And I'm
noticing that the spell checker in my new installation of Frame 9 is
annoyingly suggesting nonsensical sequences of letters as the first,
default suggestion. For example, in my doc the word "functions" is
misspelled as "funtions" -- and the spell checker's default suggestion
is "fu nt ions." These sliced up suggestion are, as often as not, my
default correction suggestions for typos. The correct suggestion is
usually next in the list, but that require the dreaded extra click to
select it and move on to the next misspelled word. I've never seen this
kind of funky spell checking behavior before. Have any of you?

Could it be related to my importing of my old saved dictionary from Frame 8?

Thanks,
Tony
