PDF Problem w/FrameMaker 10 (TechCommSuite3)

We just installed the Technical Communication Suite 3, which took me from
Frame 8 to 10 and simultaneously from Acrobat Pro 9 to 10.

I updated my document templates and tried to create a PDF, but most of the
body text was replaced by a swirly symbol I have never seen before... Some
of the headings did print, but not in the correct font (Arial Narrow shows
up as something like Times).

We've checked fonts and various settings and preferences and cannot make it
work!! Has anyone else had this problem?
Any suggestions are welcome!
