font errors/problems

Art's question is a good one, and if you're talking different machines, the installed fonts could also be an issue. 

Here's another question: What's your script doing, font-wise? I've never seen dialogs such as you describe (what version of FM is this?), but it sounds like your script is attempting to do some run-time font mapping (that's what the references to size, angle, variation, and weight suggest). 

Further question: You say "the allegedly missing ... values ARE stated in the INI file." Can you post the entries you're talking about to the list? That might help clarify what's going on. 

My own WAG is that your script is attempting to do something it either (1) shouldn't do at all or (2) should do differently. Are you the script author, or is the script author available?
