Richard,

I agree. That would definitely make things easier. I don't use text 
insets, though, so I just copied the help on it, as is, not realizing 
that it left out important, improved steps. You might want to go to the 
help page 
(http://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/WS58D703E4-0A1F-4b6e-90BE-5B64A61C4563.html) 
and tag your corrected sequence onto it. It would benefit many.
