I checked on that, and asked about it.
They both have 4MB RAM, but the 32-bit machine doesn't utilize it as efficiently.

You didn't say how much RAM was on the Win7-64 machine - that probably had more to do with it.

It's all about efficient use of resources after you push the button. I suppose a fast 32-bit machine would solve it as well, but he did say that the 64-bit architecture is better at managing the resources. 
I have a 64-bit machine at work, so that's the machine I will use. I'll post here if the saga continues.

Interesting that 64-bit Windows solves a problem with a 32-bit app.
I've had exclusively the opposite experience.
