Frame 9: Paragraph tag that's automatically conditional?

Agreed. It would be useful.

It's possible to do something similar with not too much difficulty in FrameScript. I have a couple of scripts mapped to CNTRL-FN key combinations that apply a different conditionals and paragraph styles for comments to authors and reviewers, respectively.

According to Max Hoffman .. this was a feature that was discussed in the early days of FM, but was shot down by the developers. I think it would be a great feature.

If you're working with structured FM, I believe that the AXCM plugin from West Street Consulting will do what you want ..

That's an interesting thought...adding a condition setting to the paragraph/character catalogs (sorry, I just expanded the scope of your original idea!)

Currently there's no such setting that I'm aware of, but there are Control key combos to add, delete and remove conditions from text. Control-4, -5, and -6 (respectively) in FM11. IIRC, the keys are the same in earlier versions, but in FM11 they bring up the Smart Insert for conditional text. The Smart Insert is an improvement over earlier interfaces.

I still like the original idea, though. Visit adobe.com/go/wish<http://adobe.com/go/wish> to suggest it to the team for the next release.

Frame 9, Win7 64 bit, latest SP

Is there a way to make a paragraph format automatically conditional? Meaning, I hit F9, select the tag, and as it takes on the paragraph format I assign, it also takes on the conditional format I want? I'm assuming this would be a plug-in or something. I've dug around and am not finding anything in the day-to-day functions of Frame.
