FM 8: Lost my footnote separator line

Not just the separator line, but also the space above the footnotes is lost. In Footnote Properties, the Max. Height Per Column
remains set to the default, 4". There must be some other setting somewhere, of which I am unaware. I hope ..

Greetings everyone,

 

I'm setting up a chapter template for a book. I changed the default paratag for footnotes from Footnote to ZZ_Footnote, renaming the
tag (Paragraph Designer) and making the corresponding change in the Footnote Properties (Format > Document > footnote Properties).
The moment I make that change, the line disappears.

 

Can anyone suggest how I might keep the renamed paratag and retrieve the lost footnote separator?
