I expect the problem is that you expected this to be the same command when in fact pods for objects do one thing and direct access to definition or editing of an object does another.

 

I think I sent you a link long ago to a video by Adobe about using of the new interface. You seemed unimpressed by that. Maybe that didn't cover this pod thing.
