Actually, I hardly even lurked, as I almost never used Frame.
But my new gig has me working in Frame 9, among other things.
And I couldn't get the dumb PDF to show the printers marks.

A quick search in the folder where I keep all these messages, and I had 
an answer - turn off the "generate Acrobat Data" setting, and voila - 
printer marks.
