Unable to allocate ... bytes for color profile: .thanks for solutions and update

Dear Framers:
Just a note of appreciation for Steve Rickaby and the people who posted
solutions and an update from me

As suggested, I used the adobe colour profiles zip, copied and pasted all
the profiles into the spool directory even though file sizes were the same,
i.e. same size. Several new colour profiles added themselves.

I could discount the graphic problem as there was only one.

So I ran the whole thing again and had a partial success , a workable pdf
with a confusing message, viz.

While the .pdf was working, i.e. indexes operational and clickable, the
