This may seem strange, but I've found that if you order the demo CD--
http://www.adobetcstrialdvd.com/
--you often receive the CD about 4-6 weeks before the release of the new version. That can be useful in timing when to buy  if you don't own the current version and would like both that and the new version.

I'd agree the next release is probably due near Jan. 2017.
