[Framers] How to save .tmp file when saving XML

Hi Rick...

I was never aware of a maker.ini setting to control this .. bummer it
doesn't work.

I have structure apps that generate a book and FM files from XML, and
after a file has been created I'm prompted to overwrite the existing
files. If you don't click anything in that message, and go to the TEMP
folder, you'll see the temp file that you can copy elsewhere for review.

I don't think this same thing happens for saving an XML file, so I'm
probably no help, but thought I'd let you know what I've seen just in
case. Maybe try manually creating a file (named whatever the new file
would be) to see if there's any prompt to overwrite. If there is a
message, don't click .. check TEMP.

Alternatively, you might try doing this in an older version of FM (maybe
FM8?) to see if the maker.ini key works there.

Good luck!
...scott
