I agree. 

If Mktg wants something that specialized, they need to provide the bullet as a scalable font. 

Murphy's Law: The more you contort Frame - and yourself - to comply with a weird request, the more chance there is of a disaster happening right before you have to publish!

I'd tell marketing my tool can't do that so if they want custom 
bullets they need to give me a font.
