[Framers] Using Folders and Groups

Sorry if this is a repeat, but what Folder and Groups do is pretty simple...

Groups are simply for organizing numerous documents in a book file since the
contents can be collapsed when not being viewed. They have no effect on
chapter or page numbering.

Folders are for a single chapter that is broken into multiple files for
various reasons (length, editing, content, etc.). The chapter number is set
on the Folder, not the files; page numbers are set in the files as usual. Of
course, the Folder can also be used for Volume numbering.

Here is a PDF that covers common scenarios for setting up a book:

Has anyone here used folders and groups in their unstructured books? Is
there any information out there on the how and when and why of using them,
or when one is better used than the other?

So far all I've found is the brief and pretty detail-less how to in Adobe's
help files, and I want more in-depth information.

I'm working on a book right now where I *think *using folders would be
useful (long chapter, trying to chunk so I can keep straight what
information is where and the like, because two of those sections are nearly
identical except for a few words and I want to keep them identical but there
are edits and additions and you know the drill), but I'm not sure if it
would be or how to set it up properly and, frankly, I'm not up to
trial-and-erroring today until I get it.
