[Framers] Mixed DTDs in a single book

Hi Rick,
I have done this for several applications. The easiest way is if your book
components are XML files already is to set the properties for each XML book
component (Esc b c p). If you're using FrameMaker documents as your book
components then it's not quite as simple. It may be possible to set the XML
app on a folder component so that all sub-documents of that folder use the
same XML app.
After that I've used ExtendScript to manage the correct XML application for
each file, but that does require a custom book save script.

The other thing that needs consideration is whether you are saving the
entire book to XML or just its component files.

Subject: [Framers] Mixed DTDs in a single book

Hi Framers,

I have a book file that has two types of documents in it, each based on a
different DTD and structured application. Each structured application calls
a different XSLT stylesheet. Is there a way to save the book to XML and have
FrameMaker use the correct struct apps for each file? Otherwise, maybe I
combine the DTDs and stylesheets and use a single structured application?
Suggestions are appreciated.

Rick
