[Framers] FW: Simple grammar question

This one I struggle with too. However, since we follow the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) I found a helpful guideline. In CMS Seventeenth Edition on pp. 534-535, 8.180, it basically states that words chapter, part, appendix, table, figure, etc. are lowercased and spelled out in text.

Should the word "position" be capitalized when it is used as a label in a sentence?  Such as in this one:

The display is in position E.

I'm inclined to leave it in lowercase, but I'm unsure.
