[Framers] Simple grammar question

It's really a style issue rather than a matter of grammar. And most recent style guides have trended toward downstyling anything that is not a true proper noun.

Should the word "position" be capitalized when it is used as a label in a
sentence?  Such as in this one:

The display is in position E.

I'm inclined to leave it in lowercase, but I'm unsure.
